The “Mood Indigo” trio will be holding a coffee+JAZZ session at 11 a.m. in St Swithun’s Church, Allington on Saturday 1st October. The programme by Dan Shackell on sax, John Snow on double bass, and Sue Smith on keyboard will include familiar, melodic, and approachable jazz standards including items from the Great American Songbook.
Although entry is free it is hoped that people will be generous in a retiring collection for the Shelter Box Italy Earthquake Appeal. Money will also be raised from the morning coffee & cake, a book stall and other stalls. During the interval there will be a short presentation from Shelter Box about the earthquake and the relief work.
