An Interesting Afternoon was had by Steve Verone (Steve the spade to those who know him), Steve has made a fabulous find just east of Bridport in Dorset, on land he had permission to search.
Yes, Steve is a metal detectorist.
Early this morning, Steve was out and about as normal and to his astonishment he had a stunning signal on a field he had detected before. As he turned out the very shallow soil to him amazement was a hoard of stunning stone tools.
Arrow and lance heads, also some knife blades too.
The large hoard and find site has just been handed to the authorities for closer inspection.
