Puppets have a strange power: although inanimate objects, they are capable of creating an imaginary universe in the hands of the right puppeteer.
For our summer exhibition, we¹ve invited Marc Parrett of Bridport Arts Centre partner company Stuff and Nonsense Puppet Theatre to exhibit the puppets he creates, often out of very basic, found materials. They can become things of beauty, combining an apparent simplicity with the ability to convince us they can come to life. Mark will include puppets made over several years from performances across the country.

Darrell Wakelam will lead three days of puppet making and set design workshops for 7 11 yrs.
Culminates in a puppet performance on Friday 7 August 3pm: family members welcome!
