As part of its fundraising programme for the forthcoming year Weldmar Hospicecare Trust will be again running its most successful 800 Club Draw. All funds raised by this lottery will go towards caring for patients in north, west and south Dorset whether they require care in their own homes, in Weldmar’s Day Hospices in Weymouth, Dorchester and Shaftesbury or as in-patients at Joseph Weld Hospice in Dorchester.
Tickets are now on sale for the 800 Club Draw which as its name implies, is limited to just 800 tickets. Tickets go into 25 fortnightly draws and cost a one off payment of £50 for the year. The first draw takes place on 1st April 2009 with a final draw on 3rd March 2010.
In each draw the 1st prize is £300, 2nd prize £200 and 3rd prize £100. In time for Christmas the two draws in December offer even larger prizes of 1st prize of £700, 2nd prize £300 and 3rd prize £150.
