Not only did one lucky Dorchester supporter of Weldmar Hospicecare Trust living scoop the top prize of £1,000 in their Weekly Prize Draw in February, but in the draw on Friday 18th March another resident of the town did the same.
Weldmar Hospicecare Trust, which cares for patients throughout north, west and south Dorset run their draw in collaboration with St Margaret’s Hospice who provide a similar service across Somerset. This keeps admin costs to a minimum ensuring that as much as possible from ticket sales goes towards caring for our patients.
Caroline Nickinson at Weldmar said “Tickets are sold throughout Dorset and Somerset and it is wonderful that two Dorchester residents have been lucky enough to win the first prize within a month”.
Tickets for the Weekly Prize Draw cost just £1 each and there are twenty five prizes every week ranging from £10 up to the top prize of £1,000 – plus the Draw now includes a Rollover. This week this Rollover stands at £1,750.
