Horse will be working on the land again on Allington Hill. Kate welcomes people to come along and watch the horses work on Friday 16th of June, when the horses will be bashing the bracken on top of the hill. If you can’t make it to the top of the hill, on Saturday 17th of June they will be doing a logging demonstration in Cooper’s Field (off Hospital Lane).
Summer Festival
This is the main attraction for our Summer Festival starting at 11am. Not only will you be able to see the horses work removing timber from Cooper’s Wood, but you can join in our traditional sports and other woodland activities. Why not bring a picnic along with you.
The most important thing is that entrance is FREE, although we will be running a tombola and refreshments to help cover the costs.
