Promising gifts & information stalls, local hot foods & campfire cantina, cider and mulled apple juice, juicing, snap apple, apple bobbing, dabbling & gifting for your loved ones, & to celebrate the community build of the schools Saxon Hut, you can visit the days history village with the experts from the Ancient Wessex Network, and even dabble in some ancient trading, make saxon braiding with dorchester musem & saxon rune jewellery & even try your hand at wattle & daubing!
Plenty of bee themed activities & treats promise to give the day a real buzz to celebrate the schools winning one of Friends of the Earths 60 Bee Zones ~ plant up some bee friendly plants, facepainting, make a pet bee and lots more. Have a go at woodland crafts with Dorset Forest School & Green Mashed Ed. Wish on the wishing tree, and explore our childrens nature trail
Lots of live music and busking, from bands including Pirate band Black Wreck Boarding Crew. Lots of hands on activities for children, willow weaving, chalk carving, peg doll making, try your skills at apple and harvest juggling, nature activities & meet the wildlife including moths & butterflies, Bats, dorset mammals and reptiles, childrens storytelling & puppetry, local green & heritage skills, green woodworking, and all things appley, lashings of apple & honey cake, fritters and cream, juicing, preserves, loads of hands on have a go activities, lots of live music from bands including Pirate band the Black Wreck Boarding Crew and more, buskers, & lots more to do.
