Friday 27th September at Beach & Barnicott 9pm
Stuart O’Conner went full time in 2006 quitting the day job and buying a van. Before he knew what was going on, I had been full time for 6 years and in that time had played over 900 shows.
3 tours in Japan, New Zealand and Australia, as well as numerous months on the road in his home country of the UK; have helped him carve a living and hone his live show, and he now has 3 albums under his belt (2 of which have sold out and had to be re-pressed). Sometimes people find it hard to categorise his music, he would say he’s a psychedelic folk singer/songwriter.
Stuart has stubbornly (or stupidly) defied record labels, turning down multiple offers to remain fully independent and in creative and professional control of everything he does. So far it’s working, and he’s enjoying every second of the ride.
Hear him this Friday 27th Sept at Beach & Barnicott.
