Further to their Poland trip (see COW BOYS & ENGINES), Lyndon Norman has come up with another little plan: Riding on the popularity of the film “300”. He plans to assemble 300 Spartans for New Years Eve. Quite what he’ll do with them once assembled, we don't know (readers suggestions?)

Bridport people do not need to be told, or even suggested to? what to wear at fancy dress do’s ie Haloween and New Years Eve. It is one of the things that we do and have done exceptionally well for eons. I suggest taking the Spartan idea and moving it to Dorchester or Blandford both of which have a more Roman type feel to them, assuming that the spartans were romans and if the wern’t then taking the idea to the Spar shop.
