On Wednesday 6 February 2013 at 7.30pm, Bridport Arts Centre will have a sneak preview of the first episode of Broadchurch, a new ITV drama, filmed on location in West Bay, in advance of its UK broadcast.
As a thank you to the local community for all their support during filming, the programme makers have arranged a special free preview screening of the opening episodefollowed by a question and answer panel with local resident, writer Chris Chibnall, as well as director James Strong and producer Richard Stokes.
“Broadchurch is a love letter to the scenery of the Jurassic Coast,” says Chris Chibnall, “which uses key West Dorset landmarks as part of its story. The welcome we received filming in West Bay was extraordinary. We want to repay all the cooperation and kindness from everyone in the area by giving people in West Bay and Bridport the first chance in the country to see a sneak preview of our opening episode.”
