A series of Environmental Masterclasses is to offer businesses practical advice on improving their business efficiency, looking at topics such as energy efficiency, recycling and waste reduction, measuring carbon footprints and developing environmental action plans.
The Reducing Your Carbon Footprint Masterclasses have been designed for businesses who wish to save money on utility bills; ensure compliance with environmental laws and develop robust environmental policies to help win public sector tenders or those who supply larger private sector firms.
Bridport-based Lulu Consulting is running the Masterclasses, working with the Miles Cross Farm Education & Enterprise Centre and Yeovil College. Director Jane Rayner said: “These Masterclasses will offer practical advice starting with simple solutions to help businesses improve energy efficiency develop recycling and waste reduction programmes as well as produce a green action plan that demonstrates their progress and achievements.
“We will be encouraging delegates to set up and develop their own environmental objectives over the series of classes and report back on their progress.”
The Masterclasses will include interactive sessions and case studies where delegates will gain practical environmental advice that can be implemented in their own firms. All sessions will run from 09.30-13.00 at venues in and around the Bridport area.
