September sees us welcoming Mama Jerk and The Lady Fingers, back from their summer tour of festival land, they’ll be entrancing us with a mixture of chanson, ska and psychedelic dub.
Jonny Holliday will sing his cheeky swing songs and accompany himself with his terrific mouth trumpeting. “Y’s” a young female folk duo from New Zealand play acoustic guitar, whistles, mandolin, piano and sing close vocal harmonies and this season we’re offering our early Folk Club support slot to local “Young Songwriters”, encouraging young talent to get up there and see what they can do, Zaranis will be sharing his latest raps with us. Not all of the bands are playing at both venues so look at the poster carefully before you buy your tickets so as not to be disappointed.
