Go MADD in Bridport Orchard – What difference can a day make? We’ll show you.
Have you heard about the new and exciting Community Orchard Project in the heart of Bridport? Well they are holding an Apple day on Saturday 18th October from 11am to 3pm on the site of the Orchard at St.Mary’s Church Field off of South Street, where you can come along to find out more, see the site or take part in the fun activities planned for the day.
This event is also linking with the yearly CSV Make a Difference Day by looking for volunteers to help with this event, now the UK’s biggest national day of ‘Hands-on volunteering. It’s a chance for you to help make a difference in your community by helping out with this project on the day or in the future as the Orchard project grows by giving the simple gift of time, skills or muscle power to help.
Anyone, any group, any age or any ability can get involved by calling Karen Jones, Volunteer Centre West Dorset, on 07918639012 to findout what is going on, how to take part, become MADD and register with this event.
