Bridport Vintage Market has been cancelled (2012) due to the current planning application for the re-development or demolition of the St Michael’s Trading Estate.
The event organisers Old Albion would like to thank Hayward & Co (Landlords) for their cooperation in establishing this event.

RE: Vintage Market Cancelled
I think you’ll find that the Landlords pulled the plug because the organisers were pocketing all the money (30plus pitches @ £20 a pitch once a month) from land they were’nt renting AND at the same time holding petitions etc against the landlords. You can see their point. They might have been more gracious had the pitch money been used to re-tarmac the roads whose condition deteriated even more due to the markets. It’s not as if this wasn’t suggested at the outset, and maybe claims that they want to repair the place would have a modicum of belief had they done so.
